Cutting in bedlines (same day, before and after).
We tied the new tiers into an existing set of steps and brick retaining wall and planted a rotating bloom cycle of
various perennials. (This was a juniper-covered hill with erosion issues before.) We then returned years later to
install a pair of 90' walls below to create more level planting beds where the ivy had formerly taken over.
