After (without plants)
Falls detail.
From above
We did as the client asked, installing the drop-in
hard liners. When it leaked, we replaced them with
the same liner that we used for the 11x11 pond at
the base. Much better, and bigger! Now all 3 ponds
will support fish...and T's turtles, once we get the
plants in and make it an ecosystem... :)
after, but still no plants
Before (was an ivy-covered hill)
After (now 2 90' walls with stairs)
BASIC package initial visit: Mow, Edge, Trim ("Weedeat"), Blow. A noticeable change in one visit!

Before: An azalea hid the front of the house.
Inappropriately-sited shrubs scratched cars
and blocked walkways. Three clumps of tiny
plants and a patch of stachys (lamb's ear)
was all that this bed contained.
After: We replaced the shrubs with plants
more appropriate to the clients' goals. The
front porch is more inviting, and a rotating
bloom cycle of low growing, shade-tolerant
(and mostly native) perennials and annual
color now exists. Why use natives? They are
already adapted, the nursery varieties have
been selected for specific characteristics,
and they are not likely to escape and become
invasive. (Kudzu or water hyacinth, anyone?)

Before: Irregular, off-center bed with sparse
plantings and few trees or shrubs.
After: Centered island, added rotating bloom
cycle of perennials and repeat-blooming
azaleas and crepe myrtle.
Your next project could be
here! If you're serious
about changing your
habitat, we want to help.
Before: Visible foundation. Little to no mulch. Focal
points were flex-spout, clean-out, and utilities.
After: Azaleas will bloom from spring until fall. 5' mature
height will hide foundation and act as backdrop for later
perennial plantings. Pop-up drain connects to
downspout, moving roof water (if it ever rains) away from
foundation to turf without obtrusive pipes.
After 1 visit.
